Opinions, OBD1 in a CRX or what..
Well I know you will say seach, but I want opinions.
First off, how hard is it to do the wriing without a jumper harness, to just do it yourself. I have done a bit of wiring so, i just want to know of opinions on how hard it is.
Whats the best route, Fields VTEC controller or OBD1 from personal experiences?
Just a couple questions I have been wondering about.

Your best bet is boing to be to convert to obd1. Im soo tired of fighting with a rpm activated switch.. it just adds wiring all over the place.
getting a harness saves you TON of time/energy/cuss words. IMO its worth the money.
converting to OBD1, u can run hondata!
hondata vs VAFC+chipped ecu

Hey man i hate to be a dick buy you need to do a search im tired of this bullshit
i type in crx turbo and like 2 things come up
you go to forced induction theres like 100000 things about crx and turbo..
just my .02 cents
That's why you change it to archived topics from recent.
Personally, I have posted about this a gazillion times and it keeps getting asked every week. It's gotten to the point where I don't bother answering anymore. just click on the link in my sig for instructions, and use search. try again.

Okay and has someone asked the exact same questions as me? I know this has been covered before and like I said, I knew people would flame, and Civicboy was bullshitting when he posted that, he did it from school today but.. I was just wondering how hard of a conversion it is without a harness, and how p28 compares to fields, apexi, etc. Anyway thanks for the opinions and keep them coming if you have more.
use a PR3/PWO (JDM B16A ecu) w/ a removed knock sensor. Wire up vtec and be done. It works and works great and won't cost you an arm and a leg.
why are you tired, if your tired then dont post... jeez... have you not noticed the search engine to this thing really sucks the ****, you put in something and get no resultds yet it was discussed 1million times before...

How would you get rid of the knock sensor?
Sounds good and all but my freind who I am doing this for just bought a p08 ecu, which i guess is suppossed to be the jdm equivelent to the p28, i dunno though, The only thing he needs is to get injectors and i think civicboy has a set of obd1 injectors, just need to find em, then we are ognna try ot convert to obd1 and hope it works, lol.
One more question, how much did you pay to get the pr3 reprogrammed? We may go that route, if its easier and cheaper, i may just tell him to sell the ecu and get that, lot less pain and plug and play pretty much..

why not look into the Zdyne one wire VTEC conversion. i think it runs around 200, same price as the PR3/PWO ECU and you can, potentially, upgrade to full GoldECU by paying the difference in price to them.
ZDYNE
i looked over the instructions for OBD1 conversion, looks like a pain in the ***.
good luck

Doing the wiring yourself is not too bad. Just lengthy. There are about 45 wires to change. But there is nothing terribly difficult about this. The worst part of the job is aching due to the awkward work position. ESPECIALLY if you are a pretty large person (like myself). I have a couple of recommendations to ANYONE considering taking on this job. First of all, do NOT just go in there are hack off the 1988-1991 plugs. Cut wires one at a time as you solder on the 1992-1995 plugs. This GREATLY reduces the chance of making an error. Secondly, get a fan to suck out air on the driver's side of the vehicle. The smoke from soldering is nasty and probably toxic. And proper ventilation makes the job MUCH more pleasant.
