clutch and flywheel upgrade for 91 accord ex coupe
My car has 170k miles on it and the clutch is slowly dying so soon i'm going to want to replace it. I'm thinking i want to put a new clutch in it, a performence clutch to handle some more power and get better launches and with that i'd like to put a lightened flywheel. I was curious what everyone uses and what people recommend. I would rather not spend a lot of money. I see that an exedy racing clutch seems to be fairly priced but i can't seem to find a good flywheel combo. Neuspeed has a nice clutch but it's 450$. That's a little high priced for me. Anyways, suggestions are needed. thanks for your help. also include where to get them and the best prices.
oh, if you didn't see in the title this is a 91 accord ex coupe
P.S. How do I get authorized to post more than 5 times in an hour? i'm restricted still.

i run the ACT street disk and HP pressure plate with the ACT flywheel. the ACT wheel is just a lightened stocker so its not as expensive as the chromoly wheels but its also a little heavier than the chromoly.
i think i picked up the flywheel for like 90 bucks and the clutch for about 200. i run slicks and generally abuse my car pretty bad and i havent had any problems at all. the pedal effort is stock and engagement is smooth.

i'm not stupid, that was my first try. i got one return on "clutch" and on "flywheel" and it was about some guy wanting to know if he could chirp the tires or something stupid. Basically everyone just flamed him, no info on clutches. thanks for your help, i might not have found the search button without someone saying something me being dumb and all.

exeedy clutch/flywheel seems to be popular or clutchmasters stage 1 clutch and their flywheel is also good (its alittle more expensive)
i didnt say that ACT made one. i said ACT takes a stocker and machines the crap out of it and makes it lighter.
keep in mind that this is a good route to take for an accord because it helps keep the low end torque our cars are known for. a lightened flywheel and the h22 tranny on the f22 motor make a lovely combo.

so when you go here you need to change the "data set" to archived topics. You are corect that there are only a couple recent entries on the subjects but that is partially because they have been well covered in the past.
