.48 a/r housing

Default .48 a/r housing

say i buy the t3/t4 57 trim w/ the 48 A/R HOUSING
and im not happy with can i just buy the .63 ar housing and switch them?
i heard somone say i can but i just wanna confirm

how much of a pain in the *** would it be to switch housings if it came down to it
would a shop charge alot for labor???

six bolts if the turbo is off the car, and the wastegate flange is already off,its not that hard at all.

worst comes to worst il just swap housings

umm.......I'm pretty sure that you need a wheel that would fit the .63 turbine housing. A wheel for a .48 is going to be alot smaller than a .63 turbine wheel so I'm not sure how well that is going to work.

umm.......I'm pretty sure that you need a wheel that would fit the .63 turbine housing. A wheel for a .48 is going to be alot smaller than a .63 turbine wheel so I'm not sure how well that is going to work.
I assume that redline201 is referring to the Garrett Ballistics Concepts T3/T04E which has a Stage III turbine. SO he will be able to swap to either a Turbonetics or Garrett .63 A/R turbine housing as long as it is machined for a Stage III. All of teh New Garrett Ballistic Concepts T3 turbine housings are Stage III.
