ignition jumper thing stuck on car affect performance?
i jumped that thing to change the ignition timing and i forgot to take it out and i was wondering if the car would have been faster if i didnt forget to take the thing out. it ran a 9.4@74 in the 1/8th with 91 ls motor in 90 hatch with crower 404s. it was a disappointing time and the car was disasemmbled since then. jsut wondering if things coulds have been diff.
please try again on that post, you didn't make much sense.
what i understand is your question:
"i have an ls motor with crower 404's. it only went 9.4 in the 1/8th, would it have been different if something was changed on the ignition"(??)
what is this jumper you are talking about? if you modified the ignition system, then yes, your results could vary greatly the next time you get it running.
