Anyone know what the 3 wires are for going into the coil. My friend found a cut in one of his wires and needs to rewire it and doesnt know what wires are what.

 

1) Positive.
2) Coil primary negative.
3) Coil secondary negative.


3 Is where the HT lead connects to.

1 and 2 should be labelled, but if not, you can find the postive by connecting a meter to one of the metal tabs and the coil secondary negative, if you get a reading, you've found it.

Actually the third is not a secondary negative, it's used to power the Ignition Control Module.
