I honestly can't see that making a big difference. the heat transfer effiency of the paint on an oil filter would limit that thing considerably.

 

wouldnt be worth it IMO. The real oil coolers rock though

you do not need an oil cooler

 

i guess that thing would cool the oil maybe one degree if lucky. But as far as the oil cooler (the real one) if you are making lots of power or you are turbo, i think one would be very good for your engine, not to big tough

 

essentially if and only if, or if you are doing enduro road racing, otherwise it is a waste of money upgrade at this point

 

Isn't Water Wetter cheaper. Just cool the whole motor down, then your oil will be cooler.

 

That Redline Water Wetter says that it's Dyno proven on the bottle...LOL
