You do have to cut the front subframe.

Its not the subframe you have to worry about, its the front crossmember. Some people bang them forward a bit to make the header fit but that weakens the crossmember or you can buy an aftermarket one...

Yea just get a traction bar.... It will clear with a lot of room and the traction bars look a lot cleaner... Peace

You would have to notch the crossmember like this or maybe a little bit more...

You would also have to remove the bar that bolts on to the crossmember and the firewall. 92-93 GSRs do not have that bar. That's about it.

It fits with the crossmember modification but you will have major ground clearance issues. Mine is smote/dented to hell and I have only had mine a year or so. My car is dropped 2 inches though. It also will potentially make your resonator pipe scrape as well. If you have the money use a SMSP custom header.

Are you runnin the JDM ITR header??? Just wondering cuz Honda designed that thing awesome... The runners sit more diagonal then a convetional DC 4-1 or something so it keeps the runners up a lot higher than normal... I hate DC's for that very reason but the JDM ITR is my favorite ... Latez

Yes I am running that header. Sure Honda designed the header awesome. The problem is, it was designed for the DC chassis not the DA. My car is low but not "gangsta" low so its not just my ride height. As far as power is concerned it definately is top notch in that department.

I've heard some people having no problem, but some people having to modify their crossmember to fit the header.

Someone sells traction bar for DA chasis?

Trust me if you have a 90-93 Integra you must modify the crossmember.

Place racing also sells a cross member for the DA which would allow you to run the JDM 4-1 header (or same configuration) with no modifications.
