Default Can anyone help on install on a remote start?

Im going to try and install a remote start to a 94 civic manual transmission. its illegal in wa but i hear it can be done if u know how or have a url of a website that explains it then please help. -brian

do a search on that. alot of ppl have horror stories about that. my dad thought he knew what he was doing. needless to say my car had no brakes at the time and was left in gear and he accidently remote started it. oops ! and i know your gonna say NOBODY drives my car but ME. and thats what i thought too

its can be done.. illegal NO not usually.. dangerous YES, shops want to take responsibility NO.. the car and will drive w/ no driver atleast 1 time when you have it garrantied.. i have one installed, i installed it i take responsibility if something does happen, i recently a couple months ago had to buy a new garage door for my mom cause my car drove through it one afternoon, good thing her car wasnt in there or it would have been worse

it's not too bad. don't let people scare you. the only part that might be a challenge if you're not too inclined with mobile installs is bypassing the clutch switch with a relay. also, you can install a magnetic switch for your shifter such that you can't remote start it when it's in first gear. let me know if you're interested..more than willing to help.
