I would think about rods first, but sleeving is a good idea in most cases.

You would be starting with a B20 correct.... Don't try to bore the LS up that far (i don't think you are but just makin sure) With a B20 you can bore .50mm over and be totally safe... My friend's CRVTEC is bored .50mm over on stock sleeves, JE 12.5:1 slugs, and STOCK rods w/ ARP rod bolts..... In his full interior daily driven EK his best is a 12.62@107... On top of the bottom end it's just a Portflow GSR head with CTR intake cam, SK2 manifold and sprockets, RC 310's, ITR ECU and VAFC... You should be fine... Good Luck

Yea for the B18C sleeve it most definately... There is no way to go to 84mm without doing so... This is similar to my setup except mine is to 85mm with 13.0:1 slugs... Check out Golden Eagle.... B18C is the shiet http://www.goldeneaglemfg.com/sleeves.htm

It's not done yet.... I'll let you know when we finish... hehe... My friend's old CRVTEC with JUN3's reved to 8800 and started to have a little drop off after that... It was the same motor as my friend's now that has a CTR intake cam... Unfortunately the JUN intake cam shattered and blew up the motor which was most likely because we were running portflow inners... Which are too stiff and aren't linear progressive... That motor felt a lot stronger than my friend's CRVTEC EK now that runs 12.60's with the CTR intake cam.... Too bad that first motor wouldn't have lasted longer, I bet that thing could have pulled low 12's in a full interior EK... Oh well I'll keep ya posted.. Peace... PS my new motor will be run on 92... Just gotta get the tuning right...

How do you guys run stock rods w/ aftermarket pistons? Do you modify the rods?

I know importbuilders have pistons that can be used with stock pins and rods . Are these it?
