steps to take for spraying
you could take a 50 shot on stock internals but just dont be using it all the time cause then you might mess something up ...but a once in a while spray wont hurt nothing....
cooler plugs, make sure your timing isn't advanced, and an adjustable FPR wouldn't hurt to get the fuel pressure up. If you get a 50 shot without a bottle warmer it will be more like 30-40, so shouldn't be any problems.
Leave it completly stock if it has warranty, then spray (75 shot and up) the shti out of it. Return car to dealer without the nitrous kit on it and get free warranty work done
. Hey, the dealer is out to screw you so why not do the same

You can run 100 shot safely with the proper upgrades and tuning is the key. First of all go with a wet kit. It creates a safer and more reliable mixture of N2O and Fuel. Direct port is the ideal way to go if you got the ends. Upgrade your ignition and retard the timing a few degrees A Walboro fuel pump works well for increased fuel flow demands. Helps to use a step colder plugs (Check Often). An MSD window switch is nice to keep you from blowing up your **** if you miss a shift and overrev while spraying.Your stock clutch isnt going to hold up long even with just a 50 shot. Upgrade your clutch and do it right the first time. My friend sprayed a 125 shot on his stock guts GSR for 2 years. This is the setup he used and it works if you keep it tuned. Even with a 50 shot I would still make some upgrades. Good luck.

Well said. A kit that would be great for a beginner would be a Zex kit. They are relatively easy to install, and they are pretty safe. Use the above advise about the setup to use, the MSD, and by all means, you will need to upgrade your clutch. If you don't, it will be the first to go.
