Default Anyone use cheapie Autozone pads?

Im in a bind, and need to pop in some pads/rotors tomorrow. I know you guys are big fans of the Autozone rotors, so I figure some of you may have some experience with the pads.

May as well go to Autozone and snag some rotors, but Im worried a bit about the pad part...has anyone used these cheap pads? How are they?

And furthermore, anyone have a set of decent (HPS, OEM, etc) pads lying around in the DC area?

if they are for temporary use, just go get the autozones. For the time being, order a set of Hawks, Axxis, or whatever

Haha...they actually arent too cheap, price wise! Where's the $4.99 Bendix pads at?!?!

Screw it, Im just going to get a set of HPS' sent ASAP....Im not in the mood to do the same job twice in 3 days, or to pay for 2 sets of pads!

I used the Autozone $4.99 rear pads once. I ended eating the driver-side set in a matter of a few months. I ended up getting a set of used OEM pads.

I forgot to mention that they don't stop for anything either.

heck yea. I am using the Albany pads just for now, untill I can aford a Wilwood fast brake kit or Some sort of 4pot caliper system. However, I give these pads hell. The rotors are cheap too. They brake OK... nothing to brag about. I'm satisfied some what. It's just for the winter, so it's really no biggie.
