You gonna need to be in the 10s to have a real shot at winning.

I would say depending on which part of the country you are running in it will take mid 10's.

Damn, time to get an exhaust. Ive been running open downpipe for two years.
There is alot of stuff I need that I didn't think would be in the rulebook.

Running 10s with Full Exhaust & Headliner? No Rear Traction Bars will be allowed. Everything needs to be Street Legal except for the Slicks. Minimum weight 2300lbs. for a FWD 4-Cylinder Car with one power adder. Think 10s are possible?

you should be asking if 9's are possible....not 10's. i'll bet $1000 that jason hunt runs 9.99 or better by the end of next year in a full interior, full exhaust, street driven coupe.

Do you have to have the exhaust hooked up or can u just have one on have a cut off in the middle of the piping?

Wow, that is totally amazing! Is there a link to his setup or somewhere that tells what kind of setup Jason has? Thanks.

2300lb 1 power adder 2400lb 2 power adders. you also need 2 matching seats.

Says that "all exhaust" must exit through a functional muffler, behind the rear wheels. Looks like that new Dodge Neon SRT-4 is illegal from the factory since it has no mufflers. w00t!!!

Looks like its not going to be as competative as I though. Its probably going to be filled up with boosted cars. Im going to end up kickin back and watching to see how the class unfolds before I put lots of money (not to mention interior) back into my car to make it class legal. Hmmmmm All Motor Sport FWD....I can only wish

I think the hot setup without traction bars will be a coupe because of the longer wheelbase.

2300lbs and 10's have been done since 98-99 in so cali with street driven cars already. im looking forward to see 10.0's and high 9's by the end of the season maybe start of the next season. i think weapons of choice will be the 92-95 HB, coupes and 94-01 Integras.

No traction bar. For me the z10 is a crossmember and radius rod. Not a traction bar.
