Should I keep my 16in Konig Blatants or go with HX wheels and better tires?
Hey guys,
I'm trying to decide whether or not to sell my 16s with Toyo Proxes FZ4s for some extra cash. If I do i am going to pic up some HX rims with better tires" azenis or yoko A520s.
The 16s rub on hard turns and I want to be able to afford better tires!
Do you think HX wheels look too small on a 96 CX? Here are some cruddy pics of my car with the 16s and one with the 14 inch steelies that's on it now.
Opinions are welcome!

I know it's not one of your choices...But I would go with civic si stocks (15in") and go with azenis. but that is me. but I never seen HX stocks on an EK...you never know, it might look good.

The 16's rub with your car at that height? 
What offset are those rims? Regardless, if the HX's look nice to you then get them with those mentioned rubber you were gonna get.
But back to the tires rubbing, I don't believe they should be doing that if your car is the height as in the pic.

It's a 1.8 inch drop....they only rub on left turns with someone in the passenger seat. I think it rubs against the fender liner...not too badly though.

nah something is fockedup w/ ur suspension i think?? rubbing? what..my car is almost a couple inches lower than urs and i NEVER RUb before. ur height it too high to rub against the fender. i saw sell the blatants..if they were in bronze then keep them, but they're not so sell 'em.

for some odd reason, i like those steelies more than those blatants...weird..but i jus dun like them in silver

I agree go with stock SI wheels, powder coat them a dark colour, maybe bronze? I love you car, it looks just like mine...excpt I have 17 inch Enkei Rp02(forsale)

Thanks for the compliments! In the pic with the steelies, my brother had just finished waxing the car. I think he did a good job...I'm rather fond of the steelies too!
I have a set of HXs on the way...I'm gonna powdercoat them a dark color and get some Azenis to go with them eventually...
