Default How do I check my timing/TDC on a H22A with Clutchmaster's flywheel

I just got finished putting in a JDM h22 in my accord and so far it hasn't started. It is throwing no codes. My father seems to think my timing is messed up somehow. Right now we set the cam gears to the #1 cylinder, and checked to see if it is at TDC, also the distributor is pointing at #1 so we are all good there. Now, my Clutchmaster's 8lb flywheel also has 2 timing marks on it, but neither of them are aligned with the pointer while everything else is at TDC. So my question is what the hell is up? Am I missing a timing mark? or is there even a timing mark there for TDC, I know I didn't put it on wrong, because it only goes on one way, so could they have sent me the wrong product? The box said for 90-2000 Accord and 92-2000 prelude. Someone help me out on this.

If you cam gears/cams are lined up properly at TDC and your flywheel marks are not there, then you are off timing belt teeth at the crank. The crank was obviously not at TDC when you put the timing belt on.

I had the same problem with mine.We put everything at TDC and made a mark on the flywheel, this was after checking and rechecking the t belt and cam gears. After noticing we were a few teeth off we corrected it and CM timing mark was way off so that is when me and my friend, who happens to be a Certified Honda mechanic at a Honda dealership, made the new mark and everything seems to be fine now.
