Default Aftermarket Crossmembers and Traction Bars the same thing?

I need some help setting up my eg to launch at the track. MMR and Jimfab advertise crossmembers to replace the stock ones. They reduce weight and improve traction. If you go with one of these setups, do you then not need traction bars like the Z-10 or the Lakewood?
Any suggestions on which one will be the best street/strip combo?
Remember this is for an EG, NA motored car.
Thanks for your input in advance

All those mentioned have the same thought and theory behind them. Some work better then others. I use the jimfab ones.
