Roll-Cage / Monkey Bars for EG civic????????
Im looking for info/pricing for Monkey Bars and/or Full cages for my 95 coupe. Any help/pics is appreciated. Thanks

monkey bars are useless. show only. if you really want safety and stiffness, get a full cage.

if its not a TRACK only car I would go with a full cage , and if I did it would be overpadded.
a rollbar is all the stiffness you really need , especially if you dont track your car.

Nope, you can get a kirk or autopower 6-point cage for 400-600 smackers.
...or a 4 point for 350!

Monkey Bars are a NO-NO and definately show purposes only. The "race-look" imitation. If you're looking for a full body roll cage, they are pretty expensive because most of them are custom made. Autopower makes some really nice rear roll cages. They are also inexpensive. You can get either with the diagonal cross-bar or without. You can't have anyone sit in ur backseat though with the cross-bar. They are normally about $250 to $275 plus about $75 shipping. Try the Options Auto Salon website to get an idea of cost, http://www.optauto.com. I do suggest that if you try to install it yourself, have lots of time and patience. If you have a shop install it for you, make sure you have money!!!

Do you actually know anything about making a roll bar? The same materials and machines used to bend the tubing by Monkey Bars are the same used to build any other competition or otherwise bar. And by calling monkey bars you would find out that they do in fact build cages to any spec including SCCA/FIA. And why would you pay 350 for a heavy 4 point bolt together Mild Steel roll bar not cage when for about 100 bucks more you can get a 6 point Chromoly rollbar from Morrison?
So i would go autopower or something like that

if ur lookin at monkey bars chances are u dont want a full cage, a 4 point roll bar is simple, u could weld one up yourself.
