Default how much for a new rotor and dist. cap?

My car wasnt starting the other day and I tried eveything to get it to turn over. I finally took off the distributor cap and saw that the contacts on the inside had some white deposits, so I sanded them off a little. The car would almost start after I did this, but still didnt want to turn over, so I figured I was getting close to the problem. When I took it apart a second time I noticed the rotor looked a little old, so I gave it a light sanding, car started right up although it misfires at idle.

Anyway, how much should I expect to pay for a new cap and rotor??
