Those with C's Shifter... need help..
I lost the Nut that connect the Shifter to the Shift Linkage while driving..
now that I replaced it with different nut,
it's just don't feel right..(too tight or too loose)..
can anyone look at theirs and took a picture of the nut? I know it's a self locking nut but the size, etc.. I can't remember.. and the Instructions manual from C's don't say anything about it..
TIA

you gotta torque it down, dont knwo the #. if you tighten it all the way the the shifter will be hard as a **** to shift, thast what happened to my B&M. i just tighteneed it enough to where its smooth.

Good thing my short throw has a metal bearing in the bottom and came with spacers for each side. That way I can tighten the nut down as far as it will go and it still shifts smooth every time.
<--- $40 AutoZone shifter 0wnz me because it has worked flawlessly for almost a year and a half, shifts very smooth and has a shorter throw than a stock Miata 6-speed shifter
