I had the same problem, I could never pin down why either one of my rear seat's were getting wet sometimes, until one day when driving outta my place; in my rearview mirror I saw a splash of water fall down on the seat from the panel above !!

What was happening was rain was seeping in under the rear window-wash spray nozzle and pooling in between the roof and panel above the rear seat

I found and fixed it by pulling the panel above the rear seats down (be careful not to loose any of the clips - apart from that it just pop it out and pull down). Then I tipped some buckets of water on the roof so I could easily see where the water was coming in - for me it was where the spray nosel goes thru the roof. I fixed it up with some silicon and did a check for any rust up there... luckly nothing major.

You can also check the bottom seals of the doors. One of mine came out of place a little and the entire rear floor and bottom of the seat was soaked.

I had this prob in my lude and it was the taillight gaskets or the taillight screws weren't in tight.
