Camgear info needed ASAP...
I tried a search and came up with nothing that will help me. I think I may have things backwards, and if that's the case I need to go back to 0,0 and get back on the dyno. My question is when the gear is at 0 degrees and you move the inner sprocket to the left, thus causing the markings to move right is that advancing or retarding? Please let me know any info you have on this topic as I think I may have done the process backwards thus retarding my intake and advancing my exhaust
which may be why I was only getting 168whp. Thanks a lot for your help guys

If you move the inner towards the front of the car you're advancing, moving it towards the firewall you're retarding.
cliff notes:
inner to the left=advance
inner to the right=retard

Phew, I had it right then, I thought I did it backwards after looking at the Toda breakdown on Godspeed. Cool, thanks again for the info

When you retarded the intake did you bump your ignition timing back to where it was at first?

And I didn't retard the intake, I advanced it....isn't that the norm? advance intake, retard exhaust?

I believe every 2 degrees of intake cam advancement is 4 degrees ignition advance.
if that's the case i'm at 26 degrees! I'll have to reset that ASAP
