As I have posted before I am about to start buying parts for my turbo for the R. I am not gonna run as much boost as I originally was going to so now I wanna buy a hondata. Need to know how much is the average cost and what else do I need to run it? By the way I am gonna track at 10 psi and street at 6 psi. Any other comments on turboing the car would help.

for a basic set up youll need like an s200 i think around the $279 range . then the boost option like another $200 or so
the ecu (chipped p28 from hondata si like $275)
obd1 harness i got from blowncivic on here for $175 shipped.
and thats basically the jsit of it without tuning .
whats the rest of your set up look like out of curiousity? im doing the same thing , but 10 for the track and 8 for the street

I am gonna peice the turbo kit together. I am gonna use t3/4, spearco intercooler, all the greddy electronics, custom intercooler piping from local shop, greddy blow off valve, and sfp manifold. What ignition system are you gonna run?

 

Also I am gonna sell my head and get a new one because mine is milled alot! Then I am gonna use like 10:1 JE Pistons and Eagle rods.

 

i have been runnign the mSD dig 6+ with BLaster ss coil and MSd wires and cap .
myu set up is MAxrev manifold , Garet t3/04e 60 trim , .63 ar, Drag piping, Hondata 4b, Rc 550's, Tial 35mm wastegate, HKS SSQV BOV, HKS Type Timer, i dunno which intercooler i want yet, but thats the only thing I need yet.
