ok first of all i bought a b16a ge sleeved block, and it turns out all the mains are jacked up...so im wondering where i could have the sleeves put into another b16 block??

im calling ge on monday to see what they say, but if you know of anyone or have any ideas please let me know

Line bore the mains.

 

the line bore is fine...the problem lies in the actual bolts holes that were helicoiled...they were all made to big and the bolt just wobbles around inside of them...

 

Is this the same block that you were saying was GE's fault was bad?

Did you have any shops look at it? Maybe they pull the coils and tap it for a bigger bolt. Or weld them shut and redrill?? That one may be a stretch.

no this was not ge's fault...the helicoils were messed up by the previous owners shop...

im just looking for either the sleeves to get fixed or the holes to be redone and machined...
