Better quality, more accurate, there are more reasons. I love Defi-Link guages personally.

i just dont see the reasoning behind spending $700 on defi guages, i think thats for only 3 guages and the control unit.

p.s. but i cant talk, i have a $750 spoon cluster. lol!

Very very sorry to hear that. When it gets a lil cold outside so does the inside of my "sane" brain. I dont' think I will.

But back to the subject,

Im now at the stages that I have to choose gauges.. Im thinking Defi link as well but Im only gonna run 3 gauges, boost, EGT, and FPR. I was thinking blitz too.. They have those with the green needles. They are pretty hot.. who knows... The only things I want electrical are the fuel pressure and EGT.. Im happy with a mechanical boost meter...

I really dont think that the higher end gauges are that much more accurate. Papadakis uses autometer, so they must get the job done.

Just a crappy Sony Cybershot DSC-P50 - pictures taken at very high resolution, then edited and brought down to a lower resolution in Photoshop, so it looks real crisp and clear

Sigh. Thats awful. There are a lot of morons driving around who just dont give a ****. I get scared even driving my little CAR to work. My bikes have been gathering dust in the garage for years because of this. Anyways, about the meters... Those imports sure look nice, but my $30 autometer boost gauge will probably do its job well enough, and if some moron theif comes along and rips it out of my dash... I'm only out thirty bux. I would be plenty more pissed if were a $200 gauge.

sony p50 is 3.2 megapixel right? Anything 2-5 megapixel will take awesome picts.. way more rez than you need for the web. Below 2Mp I have gotten mixed results though.
