which gauges?
i am deciding whether or not i should get the autometer gauges for oil and fuel press and get the boost and egt in greddy or all 4 in greddy...i am trying to save a lil bit of money here so i need to know if the autometer gauges are reliable enough!? also any pics of gauge setups in cars would be appreciated
boost oil and fuel id go with autometer and egt with greddy or apex or the like... those will be good enough... here's where i have my guages... its an old pic but u get the idea
The shop where I buy all my parts has nothing but negative things to say about the reliability of Autometer gauges. The offered me great prices on them too but told me that time and again their test equipment would find inaccuracies in Autometer's gauges, specifically the A/F and Boost gauges. Based on that, I am not going to use Autometer's gauges at all.
Their A/F gauge is so sexy though!
A/F tends to be pretty inaccurate as it is. The stock sensor is rather limited. The Autometer A/F gauge would be probably be fine, but if you get a wideband O2 sensor, then definitely get a more accurate gauge.
