Need help with Phillips HID high beam install
Just got the 9005 and 9006 kit from Trevor @ visualdynamics. Installed the low beam with no problems. Now, I can't seem to find a spot for the high beam ballasts.
Can someone with the 9005 installed point me in the right direction?

Put them on top of the other ballasts.
I'll take some pictures of my HIDs placments.

Here's how the passenger side is configured on my car.

I have the driver's side ballast weaged down near the light sockets. The wires are zip tied away from the power steering belt/AC belt. No problems for almost a year now. You'll amazed what two sets of HID's can do at night!

I have a few questions regarding this Philips setup.
1. The ballast is made by Philips...but what about the bulbs? Philips too?
2. Philips ballast can be used in many different kits along with different brands of bulbs......is this correct?
3. If the bulbs burns out, how much and where can you order a new bulb assuming that the bulb is not made by Philips??
4. When you are shampooing your engine, can you get the ballast wet?
Thanks.

Bulbs are Phillips, Ballast is Hella/Phillips... I think.
You can use different bulbs, yes.
About $100 for a new bulb, but the bulbs last for a LONG time.
The ballasts and connectors are sealed so you can get them splashed with water, just not submerged.

I have the Phillips 4300k kit and I like the look of 5000k. I compared the visible light (ground light ) on my kit and my friend's Phillips 5000k kit. Honestly there isnt that much of a difference.
Are the ballasts w/ the 4300k kit only supposted to be used w/ 4300k bulbs only or can I get 5000k bulbs and use them w/ my existing ballasts?
If so, where can i just buy 5000k bulbs?
Thanks a lot!
