how is that dumbass comment helping his original question? he bought an HID kit and asked what he needed to do to install them. Sorry to be a dick, but i hate it when people do stuff like this

to the OP: sorry but i cant help you with your question

Oh and a retrofit is taking HID projectors from another car and modding them into your current headlight assembly

And you are doing this so that you don't blind oncoming traffic with getto pnp kits. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by viper_boy403 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

You only need one relay, main power should come from the battery. the positive wire on your low beams is the wire you use to switch the relay on.

Search the web on how to wire up your HIDs, no one here will take your hand and walk you through it. There are many ways, not just one, Search before posting questions like these.

the guys on honda tech are real particular about HIDs. speak of plug n plays and you're gonna get burned at the stake. retrofit really is the only way to go though. theres lots of info on the web though, how to convert your housings, what cars to get the projectors from. you should do some research, send your kit back, and dont limit the research to hondas.

As for the OP, I am unsure where to start, I am just trying to stop others from flaming you. Other than that, I would recommend what others are saying, do a retrofit because it is much safer to other drivers.

There are plenty of people who have done HID's without doing a retro light. They are expensive to do, and not everybody feels like craking open the headlight. I never did them, and i was fine with it.

When I got my HID kit, everything plugged in, so i didnt have to do any wiring other than power/ground. where did you get these lights? Maybe they can give you some insight on how they would wire them up.

x2 for contacting the manufacturer/seller. Most HID kits are plug-n-play (PnP) that shouldnt require you to modify them to work.

He is using a hid bulb in stock reflectors that aren't designed for hid bulbs. When doing that you create so much glare for the on coming drivers that you have to aim the reflectors down to the point that you have less night visablity(sp) than with the stock blubs. So he pays more to have less fuction, but they look pretty. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Apex1972 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Yeah what exactly is the problem with the kit he is using? Does anyone have any info on a retro light thing for maybe a second gen? im possible moving to upstate NY and my stock lights just wont cut it in white out conditions :D

i tried searching but yielded no results, if maybe someone can tell me what to search for to get the information i need it would be great, dont want to make my lights glare to much for oncoming traffic or anything so i want to do it right the first time... Any help would be awesome.

I apologize if anyone thinks im thread jacking, dont want to start a new thread when one exists.
