HELP!!! Car won't start after cam install....
Today I swapped in some Skunk2 Stage 1 cams and cam gears into my 99 Si. I followed all the directions that I found at c-speedracing.com. Their instructions did not include taking off the distributor, which is different from what I've read elsewhere. Everything seems correct as far as TDC and all. Since I had to re-check everything like 3 times, the little distributor **** that the intake cam attaches to was turned a few times. Maybe this is the problem, but I don't know. I also did a valve adjustment. The engine just cranks and does not want to turn over at all. Even the cranking sound is different than before. It's a little more high pitched.
Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Problem solved!!!
I didn't line up the crankshaft correctly with the cam gears. Once that was corrected and the valves were re-adjusted, it fired up fine again!!!
Thanks all....
