Default dyno with a bad distributor/rotor

Motor is a 96 JDM itr wit US DC header, and blitz catback.

Changed the rotor, and fucked up the distributor and got 153 whp and 98wtq.

Ima get a new distributor hopefully it should fix this POS chart.

The torque is REALLY bad. I can see the hp going up to 160s but i dont know how im going to get a 15-20 jump in torque from a distributor.

Check your rotor, do you have a CEL?

How do you know if your cap and or rotor is bad? Any tell tale signs like hesitation (or ~90ft-lbs of torque in this case ).

When should the cap & rotor be replaced, how many miles?

nope no CEL, i took a look at my rotor, it was a little worn but i doubt it was bad enough to cause my car to run like that

Changed my distributor, runs better, but not great.

Slight power dip at 5200-6000rpm. Maybe vtec needs to be moved lower to 5200 rpm.

Lights are dim from idle to 4k rpm if im on the gas. After 4 they get bright but i notice the engine bogs SLIGHTLY from 4k up. Light dimming problem could have something to do with power output.

When I dynoed with a bad distributor good rotor I got 153 WHP so with the new distributor power is going to be 160s which isnt bad. The torque though....I dont see it jumping from 98 to about 118.

I might not be getting enough fuel ( stock civic fuel pump ) but im not sure about this.

Anyone got any ideas on what I should do or check next?
