For the last month my gears have been making a grinding sound when i down shift into 2nd or 3rd most of the time. I called honda and made a app to see them next week but im wondering if they will say it not under warrenty since I have a short shifter in. Will I need to take it out and put the old one in? Also what could be the prolem? Thanks

 

if you have the time . i would take out that short shifter out before youre appointment. honda will try to make any excuse to get you out of the warranty. i had reverse problem with my tranny and they didnt want to cover it since i had a roll cage and striped out interior. which had nothing to do with the problem . after a couple of threads and complains they fixed the tranny. damm dealers.

 

damn some one brought this post back form the dead...lol its was my tranny but I got a deal on a ex tranny so now im all good...thanks though
