I wanted 2 drop a zex kit on my 4th gen but i was told that i had to do work an extensive amount of work to the motor in order for the motor to withstand the shots.So i bought this damn kit a while back with the intentions of dropping it in this time of year and now i just dont want to deal with it,im just gunna do an H22 swap on my 5th gen.Since i dont have no use for it im gunna put it up for sale...im just letting ya know that if anyone wants the kit ill let it go for 400...its brand new and the box hasnteven been opened.Well just let me know if anything.Thanks

im pretty shure you'll be fine runnin the zex kit.. and if you already have the h22 or money saved for it... install the zex kit and have some happy times on the stock motor before u do the swap

 

Who ever told you that zex was going to hurt your car or that you had to change out anything besides your plugs was a idiot. Zex is virtually fail proof!

sorry guy this might sounds silly but yeah I'm gonna say it..
I was at the coffee shop the other night and
some rice boi were taking about how much NX is better than Zex..
anyone can point out the major differeces between the two?

 

NX kit is better then Zex by alot. First of all Zex is dry and NX is a wet kit.

A n2o dry kit is when the n2o is activated and spraying the system uses a vacume to adjust the fuel pressure and use the cars injectors to spray the fuel accordingly>> taken from clubsi.

Pros of Zex
- Easy to install
- Self contained
- Safe if instructions are followed
Cons of Zex
- Low HP (Zex is only rated to the flywheel)
- Electrical WOT activation
- Been known to have problems “could be due to install

Pros of NX
- More HP (NX is rated to the wheel)
- Safe
- All parts are split so supposed you have a broken solenoid, you can easily replace it with another.
Cons of NX
- More Difficult to install
i know there are some other cons but i can't think of any at the moment

oh yeah, i have a zex kit in my 5th gen accord running a 55 shot. i seriously regret getting a zex it. If i could do it over, i would have gone with NX.

 

i was thinking about putting nitrous on my 4th gen 91 accord coupe ex. I figured it'd be the easiest way to get power out of my f22a4. i don't want to spend a bunch and i want something easy to install with easy maintenance. any info would be appreciated. where do you all purchase these kits?
