You will have to swap your whole suspension, trust me, it would be worth it.

False.

You can install 5 lug from an ITR and retain all of your stock Civic control arms, along with the stock Civic springs/shocks.

Ok, didn't know that. BUT, why do something half assed? Might as well get the suspension too, right?

If money is tight, one can do the lower control arms (front and rear since most Civics didn't come with a stock front swaybar) and ITR springs/shocks later.

Then again if money is tight why do a 5 lug conversion in the first place? There are more cost effective solutions for better braking.

One thing I did leave out of my earlier post:

If I did the 5 lug conversion, I'd also make sure to change to an ITR master cylinder, brake booster and proportioning valve at the same time.

I was asking cuz I already have a Bilstein-Neuspeed coil/over race suspension on my 92 h/b that I mainly use for road racing and the gsr brkes + hawk pads are still not effective enough. I also never met anyone down here who did this conversion, so before ordering this, I wanted to make sure it fits with my coil overs !

What exactly is the braking problem you're having?

I'm sure the problem can be alleviated without having to buy 5 lug from an ITR.

Check out fastbrakes.com, they have a lot of brake upgrades, you can get the ghetto style Type R upgrade w/o converting to five bolt.

yes. but fastbrakes is MUCH cheaper. plus diagnose your problem, it may be pad or fluid related.

There really isnt much difference between the civic and integra suspensions to warrant
changing EVERYTHING.

Sorry, I'm thinking of a 4040 prop valve.

That's the one to use.

ITR suspension and 5lug will be much better then just going to a bigger rotor size...U get all the added benefits that come with the ITR's up graded kit

So lets say for an EK... all you need is the ITR Hub, spindle, and preferably master cylinder to convert?

Expect to pay ~$1000 for the 5 lug conversion without wheels.
