ITR suspension on 92 hatch???
I'm not talking about just the lug-conversion..
I came across a 92 hatch for sale with a B18c1 and 98 ITR suspension.
How would i be able to tell that its a genuine ITR suspension on it... and is that modification really worth the time and money? I figured just going aftermarkert is the best way to go instead of doing a suspesion "swap"
Give me some insight, i'm relatively new to the honda realm

Re: ITR suspension on 92 hatch??? (JFK.com)
I have already performed a search prior to the post, its a fairly specific question. I don't hear many stories about suspension swaps. Thanks anyways

Re: ITR suspension on 92 hatch??? (HighTachB18)
It almost has to be genuine. Because there is no other way to put 5 lug on a honda that i know of. The difference in the ITR suspension and say GSR is 5 lug pattern and the ITR has different lower control arm. Also the spring and shock combo makes the car set about an inch lower to the ground. Ask the person selling the car if he also swapped over the ITR sway bars. Other then that i think everything else is the same.

Re: ITR suspension on 92 hatch??? (jonas)
Thanks everybody!!!
No i'm not clint hehe, why would Mr. 300rwhp RX-7 clint be on the honda-tech board???
My most suspicious property of the pictures of the car i saw was that it was lower than stock... but you saying the ITR suspension lowers it an inch satisfies why its lower. Anybody know how well this setup handles on the EG hatches? The main reason i like the ITR suspension on the EG is the front and rear disc brakes. Quick question, does it come with ABS?

Re: ITR suspension on 92 hatch??? (jonas)
I'll post a pic on here later of the car, i'm not on the computer with the pic.
From the pics i can tell that it has the 5-lug conversion (along with the 98 ITR wheels) and front and rear disc brakes, and its not EXTREMELY lowered, so an inch seems right. What i was mainly worried about is that it looked lower than stock, but not i'm not so worried about getting jipped, it seems legit.

Re: ITR suspension on 92 hatch??? (b20bastard)
Man i just feel so welcome to the honda board, thats about my only regret upon getting a honda.. the ******** that own them. I did do a search and found nothing related to how it's: supposed to look, handle, and the complete components of the suspension. If you're bothered by the # of posts on the board, then buy an Aztek and join their message board
btw here are the pics:

Re: ITR suspension on 92 hatch??? (rolow)
Hmmmmm you're right rolow, that does look suspicious. Is it just me or is there a "spoon" badge on the back? It doesn't look like this car has gone through extreme care. The more i look at his pics, the more i want to get a 92-95 without an engine and just build one up myself... How much would thoes go for?? $500-$1,000??? Thanks rolow for pointing that out, i'm a blind monkey

That's not my hatch
I decided not to buy it. However if you want it, it should still be on http://www.thepartstrader.com. Car is in New Jersey

Re: ITR suspension on 92 hatch??? (HighTachB18)
the itr suspension looks just like any other civic/integra suspension, but in the rear it has these control arms. promenent in jdm civic's and integra's.
