Default OK Maxrev guys..doesnt fit on the head! Any experiences/help would be appreciated..

Well, I just finished building the motor and I was test fitting my manifold and 60-1, and then I took the turbo off the manifold. I noticed that it wont fit flush to the head. It seems right below the head screws(on the bottom) there are two or three small pieces coming off of the block, and the manifold is so thick, it wont fit flush to the surface of the head because of these.

Did I get the wrong manifold or is this normal? Should I shave down the manifold or should I try shaving those off of the block(really dont want to try this, too close, scared I might **** something up)?

Does it look something like this??

If it does call up max rev or to be specific (Curtis Page) and tell him that you need a log style manny for a 60-1 for whatever motor your installing this kit on and he should be able to get you a new manny...

Well it looks like that kinda..like the bottom wont go flush. This is without the turbine on of course. I bought it from Ben @importparts, you think Curtis would still be able to swap me out?
