Default Help With A Set Up

Doing an Ls swap and I'm going to turbo it at the swap time. Not going to build it......yet because I need the car now. Only want to run like 8psi for now.
Set up so far is as follows:
Spearco Intercooler (what size or model?)
Cartech FMU
Blitz BOV
Custom Piping (2.5" good?)
Garret TD04
MSD Ignition stuff (what should I get?)
3" exhaust

I know I'm missing some things and this is what I need input on. Anything else I should add also?

I'd ditch the fmu and get an afc or smc.....other than that there is a bunch of stuff you could add....boost controller, wastegate, gauges, upgrade fuel system...the list could go on but I am tired.

peace

The fmu will get the job done but its not the most reliable. You will need an _inline_ fuel pump if you want to run it. Don't forget the manifold and a wastegate if yer not running an internal. A missing link will help get rid of those cel's. Dont forget you will also need a down pipe fabricated. The msd isnt a necessity but its nice to have just like a boost controller and boost gauge is nice to have.

i personally would do this....

Custom Piping (2.5" good?) 2.5" is good
Garret TD04 - way to big with stock block it would take forever to spool, go with a t3/t4 everyone will tell you this
MSD Ignition stuff (what should I get?) - not necessary, stock ignition will be more than enough in your case

I'm looking at upgrading later once I have the moeny and building the engine to handle 15psi. Hence why I want to get some of the ignition stuff done now. I will be getting a boost gauge and the such so I know what's going on in my engine.

What are some good wastegates, boost controlers, manifolds out there? For the manifold I was thinking Rev Hard or Drag. Also what's a missing link? Haven't heard of it before.

Your saying use a afc instead of the fmu. Will this allow for better tuning by chance or is it just saving me from having to run an inline fuel pump?

Thanks for your help so far guys.
