I have a crank no start
I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX 2.4L that is experiencing a crank–no–start condition. The issue began when the driver’s power window started working intermittently. A scan revealed a fault indicating loss of communication between the MICU and the power window master switch. I replaced the driver’s master window switch, but the code remained. Several months later, the key fob stopped working and I had to manually unlock the vehicle. After rescanning, multiple communication-related codes appeared, including loss of communication between the gauge control module and the MICU (codes B1058, B1006, B1160, and B1010). Around this time, the vehicle would intermittently fail to start. I replaced the MICU with a used unit from a salvage yard. A few weeks later, the vehicle completely stopped starting and would only crank. The green immobilizer key indicator stayed illuminated on the dashboard. I contacted a locksmith to program a new key, but he was unable to do so, stating the system was not accepting the key. A second locksmith was also unsuccessful in programming the key or clearing the immobilizer light. When a scanner was connected, there was initially no communication with the vehicle. Based on this, I was advised to replace the ECU, which I did. After reinstalling the ECU, communication with the scanner was restored and the immobilizer light stopped flashing; however, the vehicle still cranks and will not start
