just wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas before i declare its in the tranny, won’t shift into reverse at all like something solids blocking it and it’s not the linkage i got up on a lift and my buddy checked while i shifted through, also when i try to go into reverse after its almost sticky until i go just through the gears.

 

Gotta ask, did you swing it to neutral before going to reverse? It's a safety feature.

If yes, check the shift cables for proper adjustment.

Make sure the clutch, master and slave are in good working order as well.

Aside from that, I've got nothing else. I don't believe anything other than that would cause an issue, unless it's something internal in the transmission itself.
