Default Thoughts about boosting a stock B20V on a budget?

I have a stock B20V with a GSR head that was milled slightly, I've been thinking about buying an ebay T3/T4 turbo kit (preferably with the ramhorn manifold) but I heard these B20 blocks are prone to cracking so I'd like to hear more opinions on this subject. I don't plan to push it further than 6-7lbs of boost. So I'm curious if I should be worried about my block, and what I should keep in mind regarding these cheap turbo kits.

Any necessary upgrades I should do instead of just buying the kit and bolting it together?

Any downsides when it comes to the turbo kit itself?

Is the car your daily? If so…keep it stock. Those eBay turbo kits are GARBAGE. Waste of time and money

It's a summer car so you could say that but only for this season. I've heard issues with those cheap boost controllers as well as the manifolds cracking, is there anything else I should be aware of?

Spend your money wisely with good, decent parts. People forget that cheap parts are cheap for a reason. Almost every part in my setup has been the same since initial install 7 years ago. Some were upgrades such as valves, camshaft, synchro’s, etc….
