Can I use a y8 head from a automatic y8 on an manual y7
I was talking to a guy earlier today and he said I need the right head for the swap or the valves could hit the pistons so I was looking through the head codes and found the y8 head I have is a p2j5 which is out of an automatic and I need to know if the swap will work and if the valve clearance is correct

Valve size is the same for both heads... just use the matching intake manifold for the Y8 head you are using.
