Default Overheating issues.

I have a 94 Accord LX and it’s been overheating.
First of all I’m not a mechanic but inclined. This is my first Honda.
So for starters my distributor seal and oring was bad for some time and I just replaced both. I noticed it was leaking on the two connectors under the distributor. The skinny single prong connector seems like it’s flimsy and the other was on tight.
Question is what are the two senors under the distributor? Another question is what are the two other sensors one on the thermostat housing and the other on top other housing that connects the upper hose?
I feel like I may need a new coolant fan as well cuz I heard it turn on when I turned the car off but it spun kinda weird with a lil noise.
Bear with me please cause I also replaced a leaking heater hose that got damaged from the oil leak and saw sludgy stuff coming out.
I really really like this car a lot I really hope I can get her running top notch cuz I wanna customize her up a bit but she needs her basic needs attended to.

Two sensors under the head are the Thermo sensor for the ECU and the single blade is the temp gauge sensor.

Sensor on thermostat housing/lower hose is the rad fan switch.
Sensor on the outlet/upper hose is a thermo switch for the A/C fan timer.

Techautos site is still up but the images don't always load, archive.org page does have the images load.

Thank you very much for the information. I’m going to change the fan switch one first. I changed the ac switch but my ac console is broken so I’ll get to that later. Then possibly replace the temp gauge one cause it was tweaking like a bad clock (kept bouncing around then stop)

Don't mess with the cluster, taking it apart can cause more issues.
If the single blade sensor was damaged it is what functions for the temp gauge.
Replace the sensor first, verify the wiring is fine. Most likely that manky sensor was your problem.
