Default EK rear drum to disc swap

Hey folks, I’ve tried to research this at length, but can’t seem to find a definitive answer to a couple questions I have regarding the proportioning valve for the rear disc brake conversion.

I acquired the kaliperking conversion brackets, and will be buying the needed ebrake cables, rotors, calipers, lines and brackets, probably for a 99-00 Si, to make the conversion.

There’s a lot of discussion about the proportioning valve needing to be swapped from my EX (non ABS, drum setup), to a proportioning valve which was made for 4-wheel discs.

I purchased a used part on eBay, supposedly an OEM valve from an Si, so figured this should be correct for the rear discs.

While attempting to confirm the correct valve (and proportion distribution), I’m not getting anywhere. The valve has 3 identifiers on it, stamped are:
H210C E
And, cast into the housing:
79, with some symbols
And also cast, are characters contained in circles:
“O” “H” “3”

I haven’t been able to cross reference these identifiers online, and am hoping this is correct for the different bias which would be desirable, but possibly unnecessary, to provide additional braking bias towards the rear, as it will now have discs back there. (Presumably, there should still be more front bias, since the fronts do such a large percentage of the actual stopping.

can anyone clarify this for me? I’ve read through many forum threads, but haven’t been able to make any solid determinations from all that research.

ETA: For comparison, I snapped pictures of my existing valve, and found the following:

Stamped:
K17C

Cast:
“71” and what looks like a 🚫

And cast within circles:
8 K 3 (I think..)

Comparing the symbols present on the 2, I’m leaning toward the part I purchased being an ABS part, since my OEM part has the 🚫, while the eBay part seems to have an inverted omega symbol (I believe these are symbols used in fluid dynamics but do not know what they mean)

As always, suggestions, and real world experience are much appreciated.
