Default Coolant spitting out of overflow, cap and head gasket test ok.

95 civic with no heater core, silicone radiator and heater hoses,

Mishimoto MMRAD-CIV-92X Performance Aluminum X-Line Radiator and a

0.9 radiator cap from older civic that fits the Mishimoto rad.

To try to fix the issue of coolant filling up the reservoir overflow tank and spewing out, i recently replaced the oem thermostat with an oem thermostat that was laying around that im pretty sure was new.

i performed pressure tests on the coolant system and cap and they pass.

and i performed a block tester test with the blue combustion leak detection fluid and the fluid remained blue, passed.

car runs good but except for that and fans seem to be on too much the more it runs because it starts to struggle to stay cool the more I drive it i guess because coolant escaping through the reservoir overflow tank.

Should i replace the overflow tank, overflow tank hoses, or thermostat with one that's definitely new?
With the bigger radiator, Mishimoto said the 1.1 cap is fine, mishimoto rad caps are trash and skunk2 also sent me a bad new one, i was running 1.1 cap with no problems but replaced it trying to fix this issue because i suspected it was leaking fluid and accidentally got the 0.9 cap but idk if that's the issue.

i will do a compression test to be sure because i think it's only happening when im driving it hard like its a small leak but does it everyday

What i did was a leak down test. Cylinder 1 and 2 were doing this and as i understand it this definitely means i need a head gasket job

A straight edge to check for warp. Fingers crossed you didn't pull threads on a head stud/bolt.

Everything went good id say ive been driving hell out of it and it's not going a degree over.

I did purchase a machinist straight edge and had feeler gauges and head felt good. wish i had plastic razor blades and some crc gasket cleaner. And the arp thread chaser.

the arp head studs said install hand tight, then do the nuts 60 ft lbs. couple of the head studs weren't going in smooth as the others and that was nerve racking and hand tight didn't seem right but i just did hand tight with a small 1/4" drive ratchet and nuts in correct order and it's all good for now
