I am attempting to put my dash back in. When I plugged as many wire plugs and such as I could find into the corresponding plug (male/femal, and to the best of my knowledge) the car would not start, I got some lights in my cluser, none on the dash, no head lights or anything, engine won't start, but it does try to turn it over. I got a buzzing noise from the fuse box and a beeping noise. I found where most of the plugs went into but I couldn;'t find a good lot of the rest of them. Please help, pix would be greatly appreciated.

all that we can do is say go back and look for what your missing.. you probably done have some plugs pluged into the fuse box or maybe the ecu.. check it out agian and start over

 

Hmmmm. Without seeing it, it's virtually impossible to diagnose. Check everything over again. You can't be too **** about things like this. When I stripped / re-installed the dash in my current CX project i labeled absolutely every last connector.

Where are you at? I could possibly stop by next weekend to have a look if you cant get it fixed before then. I'm becoming something of an expert on the EG civic wiring.

do yourself a favor and get a repair manual. Look up the wire diagrams mang!!

 

I have the Helms manual...I just need to know which connectors go where.

 

which connectors are you referring to? I just tore my hole dash today so I can amber my bulbs, didnt come out to great but I'm going to try a different technique next time.
