Starting issues
Been having starting issues. Every once in awhile I'll get a click I'll wait a little while and then it will start it does it randomly. I tested the battery and starter all tested good. I'm at a loss for what it could be
There's really not much in the starter circuit. The key switch goes to a relay that powers a black-and-white wire that goes to the starter. You didn't say whether you have a standard or automatic. A standard has a switch on the clutch pedal that cuts off power to that wire unless the pedal is depressed. The relay is inside under the steering column - the click you're hearing is probably that relay.
I have a similar issue with mine, which is standard. With my wife working the key I checked the power all the way to the black and white wire near the starter. When it didn't start, that wire had power; therefore, I think my issue is a bad starter solenoid. I've spent about a week working on it so far; hopefully, a new starter will fix it.
Good luck!
