Over heating

Default Over heating

I have 98 civic ex, the radiator fan is stuck always on and the engine over heats but not at Adle, any ideas?

Thermostat isn't opening OR you have massive a air pocket in the system that needs to burp out.

The fan running constantly all tells me the thermosensor is reading hot at the thermostat housing. I'd start with replacing the thermostat. Its like a $10 part.

You can take out the old one and test it. Put it in a pot of boiling water and see if it opens up. If it doesn't, then there is your issue. Once you take the thermostat out, burp the system real good.

The other issue could be a failed water pump.
