Recently I discovered that my '93 Civic Coupe EX radiator was cracked (the upper tank). Figuring I could live with that until I got a new radiator, I continued to drive it. I soon discovered that the radiator cooling fan was not coming on.
I have since replaced the radiator and wired the cooling fan to a switch under the dashboard which I often need living in South Florida. In addition, I also removed the thermostat to further ensure that it doesn't overheat if I forget to manually turn on the cooling fan.
My question is, I can not figure out where the cooling-fan-relay is located. I traced the wire back into the dash somewhere, but considering that is part of the wiring harness, I can't tell where it goes. I see what I presume to be a temp sensor located at the upper radiator hose and one at the lower hose, both on the engine block, along with other sensors on the engine.
I need to know where the cooling fan relay is located. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
