I am not sure which nipple you are talking about, the proper way to fill up the transmission casing is through the "inspection hole", on a level ground, that way you are sure of the quantuty.
Yes you can use Honda MTF, it is actually the best one I have used and you should stick to it IMO.
No there is not a special oil for the LSD.

I usually will open the hole on the side and pump it in, but it is hard when you are doing it in your garage to keep the car level at the same time.
So next time I do it I will just crack open the fill hole on the side, lower the car with a tray under the hole, then add tranny fluid via the VSS hole until it drains out the hole on the side.

are you talking about the little breather nipple on top of the tranny? my friend fills his there on his DOHC del sol. hes never had a problem, but i still use the standard fill hole.

progressive front springs would feel like ***
what resources are you using? I couldn't find any that said the fronts were progressive

... wow. i swore this was the case.
back in the day when i was doing some heavy research on which springs to get, etc....i went around looking for spring rates for various manufacturers. albeit it would make more sense for them to be in the back,.... the 3-4 different sites stated the itr shocks were 240 in rear, 180-240 in front,
and the reason i got the h&r's is because it was 320 in rear, 360 in front...
maybe they put the numbers in wrong?
edit: dave is right, rear of stock itr spring is progressive! i read the tables wrong... H&R springs are NOT progressive!
