Default B18 Vtec no fuel pump prime

I recently just swapped my ek hatch from a b16a2 to a b18 vtec setup b18b1 block and b16a head, I’ve basically completed the swap besides the fact that I can’t get the fuel pump to prime
i replaced my main relay, fuel pump, checked my fuses and the fuel pump fuse on my p72 and still nothing…
I realized I did not reinstall my crank position sensor could this be the issue and should I attempt to bypass it?

What year EK hatch do you have ? Have you tried to crank the new engine with the B16A computer ? If the fuel pump primes and the engine cranks and runs, you have a bad P72 ECU. The sensor that you failed to install isn't the crank position sensor... that one is found inside your distributor. What IS found behind the crank pulley is the crankshaft fluctuation sensor (CKF) which is an additional position tracking sensor... it will NOT stop the fuel pump from priming or the engine from running... it just won't rev over 3-4000 RPM.

97 ek hatch dx, perfect even easier I’m picking up a b16 ecu tomorrow so hopefully that should fix my whole issue.
