Okay I have a 1994 honda del sol S with a p28 ecu and de be been having the no fuel pump issue so I read up and watched vids and I found that if the green wire yellow stripe isn’t grounding out then the ecu is the problem. Thing is why is the ecu the problem I can find anything on what causes the ecu to go out like this

 

It is a 30 year old ECU... capacitors and transistors fail. These components have a functional lifespan of 8-10 thousand hours. When they fail, other traces can be damaged as well.
