hey I’m a bit of a newbie at this so don’t hate on the question but i’m just draining my dad out to replace the water pump and i think there was oil in the lines, but absolutely zero coolant.

or am i crazy and draining the wrong line?
cause i already took off my upper and lower rad hoses but this line goes into the bottom of the rad as well, anyone have some insight on this?

my engine is B16A on 97 del sol swap.

 

you sure that one is the radiator hose? isn’t that the oil cooler hose?

 

The fitting on the radiator in the photo is for the transmission oil cooler... and the line also appears to be one from an AUTOMATIC transmission. Do you have a B16A with an Auto tranny ?
