Default is this oil return too high?

this is on my brothers d16z6 hatch. been having some oil return issues as far as leaking. return has a slight curve upwards. wanted to know if that could be causing the leak?

the angle of the line should not affect leaking. its probably leaking because you are using rubber hose & clamps. is that hose rated for oil?

i would change everything to decent AN lines and a cut stainless hose.

Check out www.votionspeed.com for cheap fittings and hose.

Rubber hose is no more prone to leaks than AN fittings. Nearly all low pressure fluid connections on cars are just a hose over a barb and they don't leak.

It's leaking because you didn't put it together correctly not becasue you didn't use some red and blue compression fittings and hose rated for 200 times the pressure you have.

How is it not put together correctly? I used this same turbo on my mr2 just fine. It wasn't leaking until after we dynoed it.
